Michael Snow: Snow Alert

Snow Alert presents a focused exhibition of works by seminal Canadian artist Michael Snow, curated by Juan Puntes. Spanning film, photography, installation, and holography, the exhibition examines perception, light, and the lens as foundational tools shaping visual experience. Through rigorously constructed works, Snow challenges conventional distinctions between two- and three-dimensional space, engaging the viewer in an embodied encounter with image, time, and materiality. Originally presented from November 30, 2000 to January 13, 2001, Snow Alert stands as a key moment in the history of experimental and expanded cinema within the New York art context.
