ENDLESS SUMMER

The exhibition title comes from the seminal 60’s surfer film “Endless Summer”. The film’s title comes from the idea, that if one had enough time and money it would be possible to follow the summer around the world, making it endless. The naïve and escapist longing of the 60’s surfer culture reflects the idea of not wanting to face an ending. The assemblages of theses works are simply the elements of what triggers my idea of summer. Comprised of the sun, sound, sunburn, colors, our thoughts and the desire for the never-ending summer.
